Eggplant parmesan, grilled herbed lamb, cassis compote, eucalyptus oil, and melted toffee aromas follow through on a soft, silky entry to a juicy, fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body with creamy vanilla, clove and roasted pepper accents. Finishes with a long, refreshing cocoa, cedar, and tangerine fade. A delicious, easy-drinking and superbly food friendly red to pair with grilled pork, lamb, or ratatouille. (tasted on Oct-17-2008)
