Clear with a platinum cast. Delicate aromas of spicy rice pudding, nougat, and fig follow through on a soft, silky entry to dry-yet-fruity medium body with powdered sugar, cream, and waxy bubblegum wrapper. Finishes with a long, mineral, mint water and pepper accented fade. Superb. (tasted on Nov-12-2008)

Clear. Black pepper, silty clay, rice water, and Asian pear custard aromas follow through on a soft, round entry to a dryish medium body with tapioca and river stone notes. Finishes with a jicama and sweet cream fade. Great liveliness on the palate. (tasted on Nov-12-2008)

Pale straw wine-like color. Mild white nut and vanilla aromas follow through on a round entry to a off-dry full body with gypsum board, licorice, nutshell, and vanilla cream notes. Finishes with dashes of mint, creme brulee crust, and white pepper. Powerful (tasted on Nov-12-2008)

Clear. Toasty rice cake and dried seaweed aromas follow through on a round entry to a dry medium body with cracked black pepper and rice milk notes. Finishes with a long, creamy puffed rice and wet mineral fade. Very nice. (tasted on Nov-12-2008)

Clear. Rice pudding and lemon tea aromas have a faint mocha edge and follow through on a satiny soft entry to a dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body with with a lemon rice candy and tapioca fade. A very pleasant mixing shochu for juicy cocktails or on its own. (tasted on Nov-06-2008)

Pale silver straw color. Aromas of praline, bourbon barrel vanillin and spice follow through on a soft, silky entry to a creamy off-dry medium-full body with toasted nuts, nougat, and creme brulee notes. Finishes with a flax, dusty mineral and hot pepper fade. A big rich and brawny shochu to enjoy on the rocks. (tasted on Nov-12-2008)
