Deep copper bronze color. Fruity caramel fudge, campfire ash, and delicate smoked nut aromas and flavors with a satiny, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a chewy, roasted grain, honeyed grilled tropical fruit, greens, and a grassy earth accented finish. Extremely well balanced and flavorful; lots of pairing possibilities with this beer. (tasted on Sep-04-2013)
92 • Fort Collins Brewery Out of Ashes Mesquite Chili Lime Ale.
Pale amber color. Bold woody aromas and flavors of smoky mesquite grilled meats, peppers, and fruits with a supple, fruity-yet-dry full body and long, complex array of smoked pepper, nut, root vegetable and grass notes on finish. A smoke beer that really delivers the wood smoke goods! (tasted on Sep-10-2013)

Luminous brown color. Aromas and flavors of toasty vanilla cake, chocolate cherry, cola, and delicate smoked spices with a supple, fruity medium-full body and a chewy, brown sugar, balsamic, grain, smoked peppercorn, and roasted nut finish. Very rich, tasty and balanced. (tasted on Sep-10-2013)

Dark brown color with a tan lace. Dark chocolate, smoked chili pepper, and char-roasted nut aromas with a supple, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a roasted root vegetable, nutskin, and grilled persimmon accented finish. A refreshing, very quaffable smoked beer. (tasted on Sep-04-2013)

Hazy golden amber color with a fine white foam. Delicate smoky aromas of grilled cashews and zucchini bread and clay with a foamy, dryish medium body and a grilled corn, cucumber and smoked peppercorn finish. A nice mild smoked session beer. (tasted on Sep-04-2013)

Deep brown with a tan head. Aromas and flavors of dark pumpernickel toast, dried fruits, and smoked Brazil nuts with a supple, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a tangy, mole, twig, paprika, and grilled pepper accented finish. A solid smoke beer for chili. (tasted on Sep-10-2013)
