Hazy amber color. Aromas of creme brulee, fruit preserves, and rich brown spices with a tangy, chewy full body and a long, lush apricot custard and spicy apple-pie driven finish with layers of grass, citrus pith and piney hops underneath. Very rich and very delicious. (tasted on Dec-19-2012)

Deep copper color. Aromas of grapefruit buttercream, dried peach, blossoms, and toffee with a crisp, chewy, fruity-yet-dry medium-full body and a long, buttery fruit cake, grapefruit zest, brown sugar, and pine finish. A serious, well hopped and age worthy barleywine that will improve with time. (tasted on Mar-06-2013)

Aromas and flavors of toffee, caramelized citrus, saffron, and toasted fruit cake with a silky, finely carbonated, fruity-yet-dry full body and a long, drying, and complex finish of pumpernickel toast, citrus zest, apricot creme brulee, herbs, pepper, and pine. A sensational flavorful and elegantly balanced hoppy, barleywine. (tasted on Oct-02-2013)

Rich vanilla cream, candied ginger, yuzu gelato, and piney herbs notes aromas with a supple, chewy, dry-yet-fruity full body and a cherry bonbon, medicinal herb and bark, Asian tea, pine sap and cedar finish. A bold in your face barleywine that demands attention. Will be better with some age. (tasted on Mar-06-2013)
