U.S. Pinot Noirs, White Meritage, and White Rhônes

We have recently reviewed 100 domestic pinot noirs.Oregon continues to excell with releases from the great 1999 and 2000 vintages, and not all of these wines are overly expensive. Nice wines can be had from $14 all the way up to $40 so there is plenty to choose from at all price levels. California, and particularly the relatively cooler regions of Santa Barbara and Russian River Valley also have much to offer at the top-end of the quality scale.
