Golden straw color. Aromas and flavors of dried fruits and figs, rubber leaf and sap, persimmon and starfruit, and cheese rind with an bright, dryish light-to-medium body and an interesting, medium-length finish with notes of caramelized apples and nectarines and delicate spice with soft, chewy tannins and no oak flavor. A dry savory Spanish white that will shine at the table.

The most famous white wines in Spain besides a Rioja Blanca and Albariño are those made from grapes such as Moscatel, Verdejo, Torrontes, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The latter is grown in several regions and most versions are light and meant for early consumption, although there are a few oak-aged version with vanilla and baked apple flavors that can stand up to most seafood.
