Cloudy walnut color. Toasty aromas and flavors of dark chocolate cake, roasted nut brittle, sassafras, and banana bread pudding with a satiny, soft, finely carbonated, off-dry medium body and an engaging, medium-length finish with shades of mocha, chocolate cream, and hint of peppered greens and cedar finish. A delightfully smooth and chocolatey quad with beautifully meshed flavors.

Trappist or Abbey Quadrupel

A Quadrupel ale as the name and math implies, is an even stronger version of a Belgian Tripel ale and can be thought of as Belgian strong ale. It has rich, chewy malt and typical Belgian yeast complexity with warming high alcohol (9-14%ABV) and a dark color. These are best savored in small quantities on their own, or with desserts or rich cream cheeses.
