Minutely hazy light gold color. Fruity, floral aromas and flavors of orange-spice cake, floral tea and rosehip, peppercorn muffin, and white grapefruit with a supple, crisp, effervescent, dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body and a polished, subtle, long wafer cookie, banana chip, mango chutney, and minerals finish. An elegant stylish witbier that is eminently crushable.

Witbier or wit beers are pale straw to deep golden in color and range in alcohol from 4.5-5%. These unfiltered beers are a style of flavored wheat beer, and derive much of their flavoring from bitter curaçao orange peel, coriander and other spices. This style is distinctly Belgian in origin and has seen resurgence in recent decades. It is now widely produced in the US as a summer seasonal. Noteworthy example of this style include: Hoegaarden White Beer, Unibroue Blanche de Chambly, and Brouwerij de Gouden Boom Blanche de Bruges. Pair with Thai noodles or baked chicken.
