Brilliant light gold color. Toasty aromas and flavors of buttered toast, soufflé, plantain, and pizza dough with a supple, vibrant, frothy, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a polished, compelling, breezy finish that shows suggestions of watercress and banana cookie finish. A very good light lager that is very clean and has a nice depth of flavor.

Reduced Calorie Lager

Reduced calorie lagers, or light lagers, are pale straw to light gold in color and range in alcohol from 3.5-4.5%. These beers are not defined by flavor as much as their low calorie count. These beers are widely popular in the US and are now brewed throughout the world. Noteworthy examples of this style include: Samuel Adams Light, Heineken Premium Light and Amstel Light.
