Bright mahogany color. Aromas and flavors of chocolate nuts and fruits, rye toast, and price cake with a supple, bright, fruity medium-to-full body and a smooth, interesting, medium finish with impressions of brown sugar, roasted yams and carrots, nuts, and grilled cabbage and romaine finish. A nice savory bock for the table.

Bock

Bocks range in color from pale to deep amber and in alcohol from 6-7%. These beers are an exposition of malty sweetness that is classically associated with the character and flavor of Bavarian malt. Hop aromas are generally low, though hop bitterness can serve as a balancing factor against the malt sweetness. Bocks are a specific type of strong lager, historically associated with Germany-- specifically the town of Einbeck. Noteworthy examples of this style include: Full Sail LTD 01, Stiegl Bock and Anchor Bock.
