Reddish mahogany color. Aromas of caramel-drenched coffee beans, lemon peel preserve, molasses, and Chinese 5 spice with a velvety, bright, spritzy, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a warming, interesting, medium-length chestnut honey, palo santo wood, rum raisin, chocolate-malt, and espresso bean finish. A very roasty take on a Belgian-Style amber ale.

Belgian Style Amber Ale

Belgian style amber ales are amber in color and range in alcohol from 6-8%. This is not a classic style but represents various beers of similar Belgian theme. These beers are fruity and moderately strong with a classic Belgian yeast character. Noteworthy examples of this style include: Brewery Ommegang Rare VOS, Unibroue Maudite and New Belgium Fat Tire Amber Ale.
