Amber color. Curious, smoky aromas and flavors of turkey jerky and smoked ham skin, warm rubber band and raffia, honeyed apple bread, and forest after a fire with a satiny, vibrant, finely carbonated, fruity medium body and an even, interesting, medium-long grilled romaine, chestnut honey, smoked nuts, and dried apple and pear finish. A very distinctive and flavor-laden lager that is difficult to categorize (seems slightly braggot-y), yet provides interesting flavor paths to explore with cuisine.

Vienna lagers are amber to red in color and range in alcohol from 5-6%. These beers have a very malty, toasted character and a hint of sweetness. This style was originally brewed in Austria in the 19th century and has since come to be known as the Vienna style. This style of beer was adapted by Munich brewers and led to the märzen style. Vienna lagers have declined in popularity in recent years, and consumers are more likely to see Vienna lagers from Mexico than Europe or the US. Noteworthy examples of this style include: Negro Modelo, Victoria Lager and Metropolitan Dynamo Copper Lager.
