Dark-Brown color. Funky, rustic aromas and flavors of sour wild berries and apples, barnyard hay, pickled okra and root vegetables, and band-aid and paraffin with a supple, vibrant, finely carbonated, sour medium body and a tingling, interesting, medium-long finish with notes of cherry vinaigrette, nutskin, and earth finish. A distinctly sour and funky porter for the adventurous to enjoy with cheeses.

The specialty porter category encompasses the full range of innovative brewing approaches and techniques applied to the roasted malt profile of traditional porters, especially souring by inoculation or wild fermentation. It does not include more traditional approaches like flavoring, 'imperialization', and barrel aging.
