Hazy color. Aromas and flavors of quiche, lemon rind, delicate spices, and pureed root vegetables with a slightly chewy, vibrant, finely carbonated, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a nuanced, long orange meringue and herb bread finish. A very chewy and appetizing white beer with great versatility.

Witbier or wit beers are pale straw to deep golden in color and range in alcohol from 4.5-5%. These unfiltered beers are a style of flavored wheat beer, and derive much of their flavoring from bitter curaçao orange peel, coriander and other spices. This style is distinctly Belgian in origin and has seen resurgence in recent decades. It is now widely produced in the US as a summer seasonal. Noteworthy example of this style include: Hoegaarden White Beer, Unibroue Blanche de Chambly, and Brouwerij de Gouden Boom Blanche de Bruges. Pair with Thai noodles or baked chicken.
