About Croatian Beer

Beer is quite popular in Croatia; the country ranks among the top 15 in the world in per capita consumption. A large percentage (as much as 90%) of beer sold in the country is domestically produced. Most are pale lagers, but these have higher alcohol (5.4% to 7.3%) than many other European lagers and they are rather bitter.
